Deanna has always believed that cheerleading is about more than just building a team—it's about creating a family that supports and uplifts each other, making everyone just one percent better each day. Her cheerleading journey began as a freshman at Christ the King High School, where she made the junior varsity team. By her sophomore year, her dedication and leadership earned a spot on the varsity team and the role of captain. After high school, she continued to pursue her passion on the Brooklyn College Cheer team from 2015 to 2016, helping lead the team to a 10X CUNYAC Championship. In 2015, Deanna also founded the cheerleading program at Msgr. McClancy Memorial High School. Under her guidance, the team achieved remarkable success, including a first-place finish at the CHSSA competition in 2020, which secured them the title of New York State Champions. Since then, they have consistently ranked in the top three at regional and state competitions and reached the semi-finals at the 2024 Nationals in Orlando Florida. Looking ahead, she is excited to build City Elite Cheer into an unstoppable program, with dreams of bringing our teams to Nationals one day.
